A short, plain-English statement of how we treat the information you share with us.
What this covers
This policy describes the practices of Fear Not Foundation, Inc. ("we," "us," or "the Foundation"), an Alabama nonprofit corporation in formation, with respect to information collected through fearnotfoundation.net.
Information we collect
We collect only what you give us through the three forms on our website:
- Founders' List form — your name and email address.
- Volunteer form — your name, email address, the pillar you'd like to serve in, and a one-line description of what you bring.
- Submit a Need form — your name, an email address or phone number, the pillar your situation fits, and a description of the situation.
We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not run third-party advertising tags. If we add privacy-respecting site analytics, we will update this policy and identify the tool here.
How we use it
We use what you submit only to do the thing you asked us to do: add you to the Founders' List, follow up about volunteering, or read and respond to a need you submitted. We do not sell, rent, or trade information you share with us.
How we store it
Form submissions are received by the Foundation through our hosting provider (Netlify) and stored in our internal email and records system. Submissions to the Submit a Need form are reviewed personally by Kevin or Deanna Nezat and held in confidence.
How long we keep it
We keep records of submissions for as long as is reasonably necessary to follow up, document the work, and meet any future audit, tax, or grant-reporting obligations. You may ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing kevin@fearnotfoundation.net.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to (a) tell you what information we have about you, (b) correct it, or (c) delete it. Send those requests to kevin@fearnotfoundation.net.
Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Foundation grows. The "Last updated" date below will reflect any change.
